For this church-wide invitation, I implemented splashy illustrations and on-theme language to inform and inspire excitement for Grace's upcoming Fall Fest. A custom repeating pattern in the email background adds a fun touch to keep this event's brand cohesive.
Each week, I coordinate with the Director of Communications and the Visual Communications Specialist to assess and prioritize upcoming events and important information that should be disseminated to our broadest audience. I have written over 65 issues of Life@Grace to date.
In the summer of 2022, the Grace Kids team approached me with a need to regularly communicate with the parents of Grace. In response, we developed a monthly cadence for a new Grace Kids Newsletter. Each month, I adapt and edit content written by members of the Grace Kids team and promote upcoming events relevant to this audience.
Kathryn Arnold, Grace's Director of Communications, is responsible for the art direction of Grace's Gifted to Serve campaign. Ben Wenzel, Grace's Visual Communications Specialist, designed this suite's brand identity and key assets. As a team, we collaborated to apply Ben's design to a broad range of communications including web, email, social media, video, banners, chalkboard art and printed materials.
The audience for this invitation was a group of adults and LITs who had been serving the youngest members of Grace faithfully throughout the school year. I used fun, casual and on-theme language to extend this nautical invitation.
Maintaining Grace's social media presence is an important part of engaging the people of Grace. Social media posts fall into four main categories: Promotion, Celebration, Education, and Community-building.
This special edition of Life@Grace was short and sweet, branded to match the Christmas season.
I regularly work with the ministries of Grace to send high-impact email communication to promote, educate and inform.
Adjusting communications in anticipation of the ebbs and flows of the yearly calendar is an important role of the Communications Team. We chose to promote Grace Cares and its resources in this special edition of Life@Grace based on the habits and behaviors of the people of Grace.
